Work station
Office furniture can be a little austere, so
surround yourself with inspiring images,
varying the size and composition. To keep
things from looking higgledy-piggledy, paint
all the frames in one colour and aim for a
similar mat board for each item. Pick out
colours from the prints to use in accessories,
such as the yellow cushion and red letter V.
Outside the square
If nails, frames and shelves are not an
option, or if you have an oddly-shaped
space to fill, think about using a section of
‘picture frame’ wallpaper. With the paper in
place, you can simply adhere your pictures
and photographs to the frame graphics
for a novel and very effective look.
Wish you were here
Postcards from around the world are often
too pretty to throw away but they don't look
their best tacked under magnets on the
fridge. Instead, arrange them neatly on a
framed corkboard and enjoy the scenery
until the next one arrives.
